Thank you one and all!
A special, heartfelt “thank you” to everyone who helped make this year's Tour such a grand success! There are too many folks to name individually, but we wish to thank: the garden owners, who spent a year in preparation for this Tour; Meerkerk Gardens, the Master Gardeners at Greebank Farm, the Whidbey Institute at Chinook Gardens, and artist Leslie Born for being open and available on the day of the Tour for our ticket holders; volunteers for their support before, during, and after the Tour; patrons and friends for their continued financial and in-kind gifts that keep the Tour running, year-to-year; and the board for their countless hours of prep time and problem-solving come Tour day! The Tour wouldn't happen without any of you! And we all know the funds benefit several wonderful community organizations.
We are looking forward to the 2011 Tour and hope that you will be available to join us on Saturday, June 25, 2011.
Whidbey Island Garden Tour, Inc. is a non-profit corporation established to provide funding to those groups that work toward the improvement of Whidbey Island's common habitat. The proceeds from this year's Garden Tour will benefit our community through the support of educational projects and public space enhancement.
