Improving our shared habitat...
The Whidbey Island Garden Tour, Inc. is an all-volunteer, nonprofit group established in 1996. We provide funding to local groups that work to improve Whidbey Island’s shared habitat. Over the past 22 years, the tour has raised more than $300,000 for these groups. More than 80 private gardens have been opened to the public for the tour and many of the owners have also continued to participate by serving as volunteers in various roles. The number of tickets is limited. We make every effort to make this a thoroughly enjoyable and safe event for both the garden owners and the tour patrons. We station our trained volunteers in the adjacent streets and throughout each garden in numbers sufficient to direct parking, control access, manage traffic flow, and provide information.
Areas off limits to the tour for safety and/or privacy reasons are clearly indicated.

Our current board members are June Davis, Penny Harger, Anne Bobinac, Mark Dancer, Christine Johnson, Teri Schlock, Sharon Edberg, Lynda Milasich, John Welsch, Patti Wong, Lisa Marriot and Chris Farnam. Our Garden Selection Committee members are Janey Parlier, Monica Shull, Judi Moore and Sandy Jones.

Join us in 2021 for our 25th anniversary
