Artists in Residence Application
The date of this year's tour is July 12, 2025. We expect 800 or more visitors with over half from off island. There will be limited space for artists in 2025. Deadline for submission of your application is March 1, 2025. Notification of selected artists will be made following our April board meeting. If selected: We will ask you to donate an artwork (an original preferred) for the WI Garden Tour fundraising raffle, we will notify you on the procedure. You will need your own shelter. You may sell your artwork in the garden. You will need your own way to collect cash or other means for your sold art. You will receive two tickets to the Friday pre-tour ($60 value). You will be invited to the volunteer recognition event after the tour. Your name will be listed on the WIGT website as Artist in Residence. You can include up to 4 picture examples of your art, your website and locations where your art is sold.
If selected:

You will need to provide your own shelter for the garden.
You will need to either do a demonstration your art or do plein air in the garden.
You may actively sell your artwork. You will need your own way of collecting payment for your art.
You will receive two tickets to the Friday pre-tour of the gardens ($60 value).
