Become a Volunteer!
The Whidbey Island Garden Tour is a totally volunteer operation. We have a network of individuals residing in our community who support the objectives of the tour and are willing to contribute their time and energy to make it a success. Many sign up every year, and the expertise of these dedicated veterans is invaluable. Gardening enthusiasts, members of beneficiary groups, friends of garden owners, and garden owners from previous tours are among those who sign up when we put out the call for volunteers. In addition, all the garden tour board members serve on a voluntary basis.

Positions are available for the Friday pre-tour from 3:30 to 7 pm, and on the day of the tour from 9:30 am to 4 pm. All volunteers are required to attend a brief orientation meeting in their assigned garden prior to the tour.

In return for their service, volunteers receive a ticket for two for the pre-tour or the tour, depending on when you work. Volunteers are also invited to a post-tour party following the tour.

To get involved, please fill out and send us your VOLUNTEER FORM. For more information, contact wigtvolunteer@whidbey.net

Join us on June 25, 2022, 10am-4pm, for our 25th anniversary
