This low-slung home designed by a protege of Frank Lloyd Wright has been surrounded by a cascading garden of delights that have matured greatly since this homestead first appeared on the tour 12 years ago. Back for an encore performance, this garden kicks off with a bang when you step up to the koi pond and first get a glimpse of the expansive view down towards Mutiny Bay the Olympic Mountains in the distance. Paths meander downslope amongst a small orchard, mature shrubs, roses, and lilies to eventually converge on a bevy of raised beds thick with edibles. The amount of food produced onsite is incredible! You will want to linger, walk the meditation spiral in the rose garden, perennial labyrinth, examine the young food forest, appreciate the re-forestation effort, and if you are really adventurous walk (maybe 500'?) down the property to see the effect of a new beaver dam.
