Tapestry Garden: By Pat Brookes
The Brookes garden is composed of colors and scents that weave throughout the seasons. Built on a corner lot in the Langley Highlands, Pat Brookes combined the confusing images of two buildings on the corner of three streets to work visually as one property. This small garden contains larger plants saved from a former garden, which make it look older than four years. Tapestry Garden features a dry Creek bed; a hydrangea walk; a Lavender & Thyme path; and a gravel garden. Pat's current goal: more evergreens for winter interest and less weeding. Her motto: Keep it simple; if it works, repeat.
