Artists in Residence Application
There are five private gardens on this year’s tour and we have yet to determine how many artists will be placed in the gardens. Deadline for application is March 1, 2024. Notification of selected artists will be made following our March board meeting.
If selected:
We will ask you to donate an original artwork for the WI Garden Tour fundraising raffle by April 1st, 2024.
You will need to provide your own shelter for the garden.
You will need to either do a demonstration your art or do plein air in the garden.
You may actively sell your artwork. You will need your own way of collecting payment for your art.
You will receive two tickets to the Friday pre-tour of the gardens ($50 value).
You will be invited to the Saturday volunteer recognition dinner after the tour.
Your name will be listed on the WIGT website as Artist in Residence. You can include up to 4 images for the website of your artwork. Your website (if applicable) or locations where your art is sold will be included.
